Basic knowledge of the function and structure of the condenser:
1. Working principle: By exchanging heat between high-temperature and high-pressure gaseous refrigerant and the outside air or water, the refrigerant releases heat and changes from gas to liquid. The condenser usually uses air cooling or water cooling to dissipate heat.
2. Function: The main function is to release heat and turn the gaseous refrigerant into liquid. It dissipates the heat of the high-temperature and high-pressure gaseous refrigerant discharged by the compressor into the surrounding environment to realize the condensation process of the refrigerant. In the refrigeration system, the condenser is usually installed outdoors or in a well-ventilated place.
3. Structure: It is usually composed of heat exchange tubes, heat sinks, etc., and its volume is relatively large. Common condensers include air-cooled condensers and water-cooled condensers. Air-cooled condensers are mainly composed of heat sinks and fans, while water-cooled condensers have heat exchange tubes and cooling water circulation systems.
4. Appearance: The shell side of the condenser is refrigerant, and the tube side is water (for water-cooled condensers). The appearance of the condenser is similar to that of the evaporator, but the heat sink of the condenser may be larger to dissipate heat more effectively.
5. Location: Usually installed outdoors or in a well-ventilated place.
6. Function: It is one of the main heat exchange equipment in the refrigeration device. Its function is to cool and condense the superheated steam of the refrigerant discharged by the refrigerator into refrigerant liquid and release heat into the cooling medium.
